Vintage Goods Seller to DTC Powerhouse
The Background Snag is a Denver-based brand redefining the modern vintage space through curated apparel, custom embroidery, and original cut-and-sew creations. Founded in 2016 by Scott during his college years, the brand began as Scotty Vintage, a small Instagram shop selling retro hats. What started as a passion project quickly evolved into a creative powerhouse—offering handpicked vintage from the ’80s, ’90s, and ’00s alongside exclusive, small-batch apparel that merges nostalgic aesthetics with contemporary craftsmanship. From their warehouse studio in downtown Denver, Snag continues to celebrate individuality through quality, creativity, and culture. The Challenge Despite its strong community and product appeal, Snag’s growth had plateaued. Their creative strategy lacked structure, and their post-click experience—from landing pages to checkout—was under-optimised, limiting conversion performance and scalability. Our challenge was to transform Snag from a beloved local vintage label into a digitally native, high-performing DTC brand capable of scaling sustainably and profitably. The Result In just nine months, Snag evolved from a small Denver-based vintage shop generating low six figures to a multi–eight-figure DTC leader. → Revenue scaled to multiple eight figures → Conversion rate increased from 1.5% to 6% → Average order value surged through the introduction of bundles, mystery boxes, and high-impact collaborations (including Snag x Cypress Hill) By reimagining their creative direction and optimising every stage of the customer journey, Snag is now a benchmark for modern DTC growth—proving what’s possible when brand authenticity meets strategic execution.
